Santa Cruz AIDS Project

The Santa Cruz AIDS Project (SCAP) serves men, women and children who are HIV positive living in Santa Cruz County. Our mission is to promote and participate in a comprehensive and compassionate response to HIV and AIDS through education, advocacy, and supportive services.

Your support helps us provide direct services to people in Santa Cruz County living with HIV, such as benefits counseling, housing support, our food pantry, and wellness services. We help the most vulnerable members of our community live more fulfilling lives.

Fundraising: Together we can do this!

We encourage all riders to challenge yourself to fundraising for this event — it’s the largest show of support we receive all year long so let’s make it count! Your willingness to fundraise will not only give back to our community but inspire others to support causes they love too.

You can fundraise individually or as part of a team with 2-25 members. Riders that fundraise:

  • $100 will receive a FREE T-Shirt
  • $500 will receive a FREE T-Shirt and Jersey

Teams that fundraise together must average over $100 each to get the free T-Shirt or over $500 to get the jersey.

Starting this year, we will need to charge fundraisers the registration fee. Registration fees will count towards fundraising goals! We hope you will understand this helps us cover the costs of the event and raise more for SCAP.

Corporate Donation Matching

Your donation could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees, retirees and/or employees’ spouses. Contact your company’s HR department to see if your company has a matching gift program.
