Whole-Person Care to Smile About: Our Partnership with Dientes Community Dental Care 

We are delighted to share that we have joined forces with Dientes Community Dental Care to enhance the well-being of our community. This partnership is a significant step towards closing the health equity gap, as we integrate crucial dental care into our Santa Cruz Residential Recovery program for adults undergoing substance use disorder treatment.

At Encompass, we stand by the conviction that comprehensive wellness is an inalienable right. It is our mission to ensure that no individual’s health is compromised due to inaccessible care. With Dientes by our side, we are committed to delivering not just smiles, but also a healthier future for those we serve.

Leveraging Enhanced Care Management (ECM): A Defined Path to Holistic Well-Being 

At Encompass, we were ahead of the curve—one of the first providers in the county to offer ECM services. Our dedicated ECM team is available to help our clients navigate complex health needs and seek personalized support. ECM is a compass for whole-person care. We connect clients to services both within the large Encompass network of programs, and outside resources offered by community partners to ensure our clients receive the support they need for both their physical and mental health needs.

Breaking Ground and Expanding Services: The Sí Se Puede Behavioral Health Center 

In June 2024, we broke ground on the Sí Se Puede Behavioral Health Center—an ambitious project that reflects our commitment to growth and adaptation. This state-of-the-art facility will provide expanded residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment to the most vulnerable communities in Watsonville, including the Latinx community, justice-involved individuals, and Transition Age Youth (TAY) ages 18-24.
