Every year, National Health Center Week recognizes health organizations delivering affordable, comprehensive care that is community-driven and improves health for all. This year's theme, "Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most," reminds us that innovation is more than new technology. Innovation can be realized and demonstrated through community partnerships.

At Encompass Community Services, we're proud to be part of the Safety Net Clinic Coalition (SNCC) of Santa Cruz County, a collaborative network of healthcare providers and community organizations working together to ensure individuals and families can access the care and support they need. Whether someone is seeking behavioral health counseling, substance use recovery services, primary medical care, dental care, or housing support, our shared goal is simple: make it easier for people to get connected to the right services at the right time.

We are grateful to our Safety Net Coalition partners including Santa Cruz Community Health, Salud Para La Gente, Dientes Community Dental Care, Janus of Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County Behavior Health Services, and many other community organizations, whose collaboration helps create a healthier, stronger Santa Cruz County. Together, we believe there should be no wrong door for someone seeking care.

This week, we also want to recognize the incredible dedication of our Encompass staff, whose compassion and commitment help change lives every day. Thank you to our clients for trusting us with your care and recovery, and to our community partners for standing beside us in service of our neighbors.
