As a follower, advocate, and donor, you have been critical to helping us carry out our mission for over 52 years, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We remain steadfast in our commitment to serve our community, but our services would not be possible without the generous donations you have extended to us in the past.

We humbly ask you to renew your commitment today.

How your donation could help:

  • $25 covers a month’s supply of menstrual products at the Encompass Thrive Hive or Residential Recovery Center
  • $50 buys a week’s worth of art supplies for an Encompass therapy room
  • $65 buys a monthly bus pass for unhoused clients to visit the doctor, DMV, or job interviews
  • $75 supplies a backpack and shoes for youth clients
  • $100 buys a coat and blanket for unhoused youth and adults
  • $150 covers the cost of a complete hygiene kit including underwear and towels for clients
  • $500 re-stocks the pantry at the Encompass Thrive Hive for a week with shelf-stable food
  • $1,000 supplies new sheets and bedding for one of our Encompass residential recovery locations

Your generosity makes our work possible. And in uncertain times like these, when Medi-Cal and other government programs are under siege, your dollars mean more than ever before.

  • Helps ensure uninterrupted services for children, adults, and families in crisis
  • Strengthens our advocacy efforts at the state and county level
  • Protects the future of vital programs in a time of policy uncertainty

What’s New at Encompass

  • We have a new CEO! This spring, we welcomed Shellee Stopera as our new leader. A longtime public health leader and advocate, Shellee brings a bold vision and deep commitment to health equity and community care.
  • The buildings are up at our new Sí Se Puede Behavioral Health Center in Watsonville! Construction is progressing smoothly and we’re on track to open in 2026 — expanding access to substance use disorder treatment and integrated mental health services in South County.

  • We’ve secured new grants! So far this year, we’ve been awarded:
    • A Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) grant to add withdrawal management services to our Sí Se Puede (SSP) facility
    • A MAT (Medication for Addiction Treatment) grant to support recovery programs at SSP and Santa Cruz Residential Recovery
    • A Kaiser Permanente grant to launch a Health and Housing Rental Assistance program for clients at risk of housing loss

These wins are cause for celebration — but they also come at a time of profound challenge for our agency. That’s why we are asking for your renewed support.
